Some day a scientific study will be made of the great world prayers, spiritual statements and invocative appeals and their relation to world events; this relationship will become illuminatingly apparent and the result will be a closer linking of earth and the spiritual centres of Love and Life.

Seven Rays and Esoteric Astrology: Introductory Classes
Esoteric astrology is known as the “oldest and greatest of sciences,” a profound path of spiritual development that expands our mind and awakens our intuition. The esoteric or spiritual approach to astrology focuses on the “big,” or cosmological perspective, as well as deepening and expanding our understanding of the personal horoscope. The class will consist of a weekend workshop twice annually and will include a strong focus on meditation, the meditative life, symbology, the chakra system, the seven rays and the deeper meaning of the signs, planets and the stars. The classes will be experiential, containing various exercises geared towards awakening the intuition as well as working with the personal horoscope as the basis for developing understanding.
The course is based on the teaching contained in Esoteric Astrology by Alice A. Bailey. No prior knowledge of astrology is required but students will be expected to undertake some self-study in traditional astrology as a basis for the course.
Kathleen Newburn has worked for many years at the Lucis Trust and the Seven Ray Institute to help bring the Ageless Wisdom teachings to wider public recognition. She has been studying astrology since 1979. She currently lives in Denmark and is teaching in various parts of Europe and the US. She is the author of A Planetary Awakening
and is compiling and editing a book on esoteric astrology for Niklas Nihlen of Sweden.
